Cedar Greenhouse Accessories

We provide a wide range of accessories to furnish your Cedar Growhouse greenhouse enabling you to maximize the use of you greenhouse.

These accessories are either made in house to our own high standards or sourced from reputable manufacturers to ensure long life and un-compromised service in use.

Equipping a greenhouse is normally a very personal choice and depends on how you wish to use your greenhouse and the range of plants you wish to grow.  The following is a description and guide to help you make a considered choice to make your growing environment one you will cherish for years to come.

Greenhouse Staging

Greenhouse staging is an important accessory for your greenhouse if you intend to use it for more than growing vine plants like tomatoes.  Staging; sometimes called greenhouse benching creates a useful working area for propagating seedlings, over-wintering pot plants, starting off salad crops, etc.  This useful extra level in your greenhouse creates useful storage space underneath the staging to house your compost, pots and garden tools.  All our greenhouse staging is designed manufactured in house to our usual high specification finish.

Greenhouse Shelving

In a busy greenhouse this high level shelving is invaluable additional storage space for starting off seedlings and general storage of seed packets, gardening tools and gloves, reference books, etc.

Autovents

These are one of the most popular accessories for any greenhouse.  They operate via a wax filled cylinder that expands when hot and contracts when cool thus automatically opening and closing your roof windows.  No power is needed and these are a must have accessory to stop you greenhouse getting too hot without you having to manually open the window yourself.
Greenhouse ventilation is a vital aspect of greenhouse gardening and it is easy for gardeners to neglect plants in the summer months when busy with other tasks in the garden. Excessive heat can do just as much damage in the summer as can the cold in winter.

Louvres

These Louvre vents are an ideal way to increase air circulation in your greenhouse.  These fit in the panel below your side vent allowing excellent lower air circulation in the greenhouse. These are recommended for specialist growers like alpine growers, etc.

Shading

Greenhouse Shading is used to reduce the amount of sunlight getting into your greenhouse to help keep the temperature down in the height of summer.  Our Shading systems can easily be removed in winter when maximum light is needed in the greenhouse.
