Baby Coldframe

Baby Coldframe

The smallest in our range of cold frames the 'baby coldframe' measures approximately 2' 3" by 3' 9". Cold frames are a valuable addition to any garden, and are useful for a variety of purposes especially where early vegetables and salads are required. The baby coldframe is a popular addition to the smaller garden that perhaps cannot accomodate a greenhouse. Cold frames, being suitable for the storage of plants in winter, are well adapted for the cultivation of plants such as cucumbers and melons in the summer. Often a welcome addition to a greenhouse a cold frame can be used for hardening off bedding and other tender plants, raising seedlings or even growing tomatoes.

The baby coldframe is carefully boxed and delivered to your door in panels for easy self assembly. The cold frame is glazed in toughened safety glass which is held in place under gasket seal aluminium cappings which are powder coated slate grey to be subdued in your garden and also blend with the cedar, which naturally turns to a rich silver grey over a period of time.
