Milton Keynes Garden of the Year is 'little piece of heaven'

The greenhouse enthusiast that won this year's Milton Keynes Garden of the Year award has described her patch as a little piece of heaven.
Kerry Lee Lintot spent £6,000 and the last four years cultivating her garden, which won the Best Large Garden category, as well as Best Overall Winner and Best Newcomer.
Ms Lintot told the Milton Keynes Citizen her garden was flat four years ago but it has undergone a massive overhaul, which led the judges to describe the green space as "stunning". They were wowed by the huge amounts of shrubbery and bedding plants there were.
"Being in the garden makes me feel peaceful and I like nothing more than sitting down with other garden enthusiasts and talking to them about gardening," she added.
Last month the 500-year-old Arley Hall and Gardens in Cheshire landed a special prize at the European Garden Heritage Awards held in Germany at the Centre for Garden Art and Landscape Design.
