Greenhouse enthusiasts in Hulme, Greater Manchester, were given a helping hand by workers from accountancy firm Deloitte at the Hulme Community Garden Centre (HGCG).
The garden centre is a not-for-profit organisation designed to provide locals with access to gardening, conservation workshops, education and training, according to the Manchester Evening News.
More than 30 members of Deloitte's Manchester team helped to create an attractive outdoor area by clearing overgrown shrubbery, planting seeds and put in a number of raised flower beds.
HCGC manager Jamie Dickinson said the more people the centre reaches the healthier Manchester will become.
Project manager Matt Beaman said: "The Hulme Community Garden Centre is a great asset to the community. The team really enjoyed helping out there, learning a little bit about gardening and respecting the environment."
Earlier this month, six members of Barclays bank volunteered to help clear the garden of an ill pensioner in Coventry as part of the Garden Buddy scheme.
