Now is the time to plant pelargoniums, expert says

Right now is the perfect time for greenhouse enthusiasts to plant pelargoniums in their garden, it has been suggested.
Former BBC Gardeners' World presenter and Gardeners' Question Time panellist Nigel Colborn wrote in the Daily Mail that this huge range of plants has something for every occasion and space.
Miniature versions reach just four inches in height, while large-leaved sprawling varieties can fill a big space, he remarked.
Mr Colborn went on to point out that these plants are used in parks all over the country and have been planted every year outside Buckingham Palace since Queen Victoria sat on the throne.
"There is no 'wrong time' to buy, plant or propagate pelargoniums," he continued. "Specialist nurseries sell them at big summer flower shows, garden centres are never without them and since almost everyone has a pet variety or two ... cuttings can change hands all year. So if you feel like going more deeply into pelargoniums, go for it now."
