Greenhouses 'an easy addition to any garden'

Small greenhouses can be added to any garden and are practical for a variety of uses, it has been suggested.
According to Helen Bostock, advisor at the Royal Horticultural Society (RHS), glass greenhouses come in diminutive sizes that can be squeezed into very small spaces.
On top of that, cost-effective plastic mini-greenhouses are also a good bet, she added.
These devices are widely available can be used to grow salad and herbs, Ms Bostock revealed.
"They don't last as long, but they can be invaluable in helping seed-sown veg make the transition from windowsill to ground," the expert added.
She went on to state that gardeners do not seem to have been negatively affected by the recession, citing a high level of interest at a recent RHS Grow Your Own event as evidence.
Last month, the RHS Britain in Bloom campaign kicked off with the planting of 84,000 native tree saplings donated by the Woodland Trust.
