17:33 15th November 2010

Tickets for some of 2011's top garden and greenhouse events have gone on sale, the Royal Horticultural Society (RHS) has reported.

The botanic organisation explained that growers can now sign themselves up for prestigious celebrations such as the Hampton Court Palace Flower Show and the RHS Show Tatton Park, which run from July 5th to 10th and 20th to 24th respectively.

Before that, however, the RHS Show Cardiff kicks off the growing season in style from April 8th to 10th, with spring blooms and all manner of experts on hand to distribute advice.

The pinnacle of the gardening calendar takes place from May 24th to 28th and attracts guests from all over the world.

According to the RHS, its Chelsea Flower Show is the place to see and be seen, with tickets always selling out fast.

In other news the organisation recently revealed that a survey of the plant life on the Scottish island of Canna has shown it to be of international significance due to the variety of waxcap fungi.ADNFCR-2584-ID-800236802-ADNFCR
