Yorkshire garden restores historic waterfall feature

A horticultural attraction first built by a founding member of the Royal Horticultural Society's (RHS) Garden Harlow Carr has had one of its major features restored.
The waterfall at Parcevall Hall is up and running again more than three decades after it dried when its dam sprung a leak, the RHS reported.
Created by garden and greenhouse legend Sir William Milner, the attraction was built by damming a nearby beck, which flowed through the fields behind his house.
However, the feature ran dry after the dam sprung a leak and remained that way until a new one was put in place three years ago.
It took from 2007 until now to get the water flowing again, thanks in no small part to local dry stone waller Philip Dolphin.
Parcevall Hall is considered to boast one of the most beautiful gardens in Yorkshire.
In other news, Bath is set to host the National Gardening Show from tomorrow (September 3rd).
