Llewelyn-Bowen to open RHS garden
16:51 17th August 2010
Star of TV home improvement programme Laurence Llewelyn-Bowen is set to appear with his wife at a renowned Royal Horticultural Society (RHS) site.
The design expert has created a display for Garden Wisley and will be present for its opening on August 25th.
One of the main focuses of the Agriframes Garden is the use of frames such as arches and a gothic pagoda to grow climbing plants.
Flowers such as roses and wisteria will burst into bloom at different times of the year and Mr Llewelyn-Bowen hopes visitors will take inspiration from this to create their own year-round green space.
RHS Garden Wisley is welcoming children under the age of 16 for free during the month of August and will have extra incentive to visit on August 25th.
To mark the opening of the garden, a magician and puppet show will be on hand to keep youngsters entertained.
In other news, the RHS recently reported that a number of London estates are set to go head to head in a gardening competition.
