Tourism and sustainability nominations for Harlow Carr

Yorkshire's Royal Horticultural Society (RHS) Garden Harlow Carr has been put forward for two major prizes in tourism and sustainability.
The site recently opened its Bramall Learning Centre, which is said to be one of the most environmentally-friendly buildings in Britain.
Harlow Carr boss Liz Thwaite said it was hoped that the new addition would act as an inspiration and see more steps taken to protect the UK's ecosystems.
The garden and greenhouse attraction has been nominated for the Large Visitor Attraction gong at the Welcome To Yorkshire Tourism Awards.
It has also been shortlisted for the Sustainable Tourism Award and Ms Thwaite explained that it is a "massive honour" to be considered for both.
"All the staff work incredibly hard to keep this garden special and we are constantly looking at new ways to improve the visitor experience," she said.
Harlow Carr, which is celebrating its 60th anniversary this year, is open Monday to Sunday from 09:30 BST until 18:00 during summer.
