Garden and greenhouse enthusiasts may be interested to hear the story of Phil and Linzi Wood.
The British couple moved to Lanzarote recently and are currently trying to sell their Staffordshire home.
However, their plans hit a snag when they learned that the entire contents of their UK garden had gone missing.
Included in the missing items were slabs, hanging baskets and a shed, Mrs Wood explained.
"My husband spent £600 building that shed from scratch and the plants must be about £80 as well," explained Mrs Wood.
However, the couple were even more shocked to return home to find what they allege are the missing items in their next door neighbour's garden.
Staffordshire police are looking into the allegations, but the man claims he bought a ready-made garden from a third party, not realising where the contents came from.
Meanwhile, garden and greenhouse fans may be interested to hear the Royal Horticultural Society is offering users of its website the chance to win a trip to botanic attractions in France.
